Hartland MS Cross Country Team Competes at MSU

Congratulations to the boys and girls HMS CC team on their performances at the MSU Playmakers Invitational on Friday. Many of our runners ran their personal best.  The boys were without 2 of their top five runners and finished 8th out of 29 teams.  The girls were without their top runner and took 3rd out of 29 teams.

For the boys Riley Hough came in 1st place out of 261 runners, setting a new school record with a 2-mile time of 10:51.4. 2nd place for HMS and 19th overall was Connor Bratt, running 3rd and 70 overall was 7th grader Jack Gregory, running 4th and 73 overall was 7th grader Clayton Hartwick, and running 5th and 93 overall was Lucas Ewing.  Great Job boys.

For the girls 7th grader Alexis Brown came in 1st for HMS and was 11th out of 241 runners with a time of 12:46 putting Alexis 5th on the all-time fastest 7th graders.  Running 2nd and 28th overall was 7th grader Mya Sandberg.  Running 3rd and 33rd overall was Madeleine Wisniewski. Running 4th and 37th overall was Amber Clark, and running 5th and 51st overall was Nicole Majors.  Great Job Girls.
