Football action against Pinckney

1. TOMMY LAPPIN

  • School: Hartland
  • Grade: Senior
  • Positions: Running back/linebacker
  • Achievements: Lappin racked up 16 tackles in a 21-13 victory over Livonia Stevenson, increasing his county-leading total to 102 in seven games. That would’ve been plenty to make him one of the stars of the night, but he also ran the ball 21 times for 132 yards and three touchdowns. Lappin is second in the county in rushing with 546 yards on 88 carries.

2. ANDREW SINGER

  • School: Hartland
  • Grade: Senior
  • Position: Defensive line
  • Achievements: With three sacks among his eight tackles against Livonia Stevenson, Singer increased his season total to nine sacks, tops in the county.

3. LEVI COLLINS

  • School: Pinckney
  • Grade: Senior
  • Positions: Running back/linebacker
  • Achievements: Collins ran the ball 30 times for 166 yards and three touchdowns while playing on both sides of the ball on a warm, muggy night. He leads the county in rushing with 883 yards and 13 touchdowns on 133 carries. He also played linebacker on a defense that shut out Adrian in the second half of Pinckney’s 42-14 victory.
