The Eagles rolled through Milford for a third time this season, jumping out to an early lead and never looked back in a 48-29 win that secured a trip back to Howell.

The win marked their sixth consecutive time playing on the Friday of districts, and they’ve won five of those six contests to reach regionals. Lexi Tobel had a game-high 15 points for the Eagles while Graysen Cockerham added nine.

“I thought that we played well in spots and not so well in other spots. I thought at the end we took some bad shots instead of holding the ball and looking for more quality shots,” Hartland coach Don Palmer said. “I think (it had to do with the big lead). Everybody’s trying to get theirs a little bit, but you kind of want to see out there what you wanna do Friday night. I didn’t see any of that.”
