 Hartland’s Evan Metz missed football season with an injury, but is healthy for the start of his third varsity basketball season. (Photo: Timothy Arrick/For the Livingston Daily)HARTLAND► Last season: 7-16, 1-11 KLAA Gold (7th)► Top returners: G Collin Arnold (Sr.), G Trevor Kulsavage (Sr.), G Evan Metz (Sr.).► Outlook: Hartland graduated five seniors from its regular rotation, including all-county forward Brandon Harrison. Senior guards Arnold and Metz are third-year varsity players who received honorable mention all-county. Metz missed football season with a serious ankle injury sustained last fall, but is healthy for basketball. Arnold is a football quarterback who carries that leadership ability over to the court.► Coach Kevin Blouin: “It’s an exciting team. We’re a young team. We’re growing a lot every single day. There’s a ton of growth with this group. There are a lot of fresh faces, a lot of young guys who are working really hard.”
