Game Recap

Playoff games do not disappoint! It was a well-fought game on both sides of the field tonight as the Eagles of Hartland hosted the eagles of Lakeland in the Quarter-Final District Game. Hartland prevailed with the OT win and will move on to the Semi-final at 5:30 at Walled Lake Central on Thursday evening.

Tonight was a complete team effort with smart, heads-up play. Ben Martin served up both of Hartland’s goals; the first was netted by Brady Walker in regulation, and Denton Paul finished what would be the winning header goal of the game in the second OT period.

Our student section and fans had super spirit tonight, and we hope you can all make the road trip to Walled Lake Central on Thursday to continue to support our hard-working players!

Game Recap

What a night! The players, coaches, and parents want to give a huge shout out to the fans, HHS band, and sideline cheer for lighting up the stands in BLUE and GOLD and cheering our Eagles to VICTORY on SENIOR Night!

It was another mercy win for the Eagles last night– this time defeating John Glenn 8-0. Kyle Ford and Kieran Malachino were in goal for Hartland. Off a beautiful assist by Ben Martin, Corey White was on the board first. Just 31 seconds later, Tony Rizzo was up next, finishing a pass from Denton Paul. Danny Parisien kept the pressure on, deflecting the ball in off a shot by Corey White, and Brady Walker finished 3 times for the Eagles, assisted by Tony Rizzo, Brett Kuhlman, and Logan White to put Hartland on top 6-0 at the half. Espen Blondeel scored early in the second half, off a quick touch by Denton Paul, and Nick Holme had the final goal for the Eagles after a set-up from Kazi Bals.

The Eagles honored and celebrated 12 Seniors last night, and dedicated this game and win to Aaron Ford, a longtime Hartland soccer fan and father.

Hartland’s record stands at 11-7-1 overall. The Eagles take this 6-game winning streak on the road on Monday to face a tough opponent, Northville, before returning home on Wednesday for a KLAA Crossover game. The energy of an away fan crowd would be sure to help our hardworking players keep our streak alive! Plan to make the ROAD TRIP!
