Gabrielle Skinner(Junior) Gabrielle Skinner, from our Varsity Volleyball team.  Gabi is a junior middle hitter who had 6 kills, 1 block solo and 4 blocking assists against Plymouth on Tuesday. She also had 17 kills, 3 block solos, 3 blocking assists and 5 aces in the KLAA tournament over the weekend.

 Violet Sinishtaj

 (Freshman) Violet Sinishtaj, from our Varsity Girls’ Golf team.  Violet shot a 94 and 98 at the state finals to help place our team in the top 10. She has been our number 3 or 4 golfer all season.

Seth Buff

(Junior) Seth Buff, from our Varsity Boys’ Soccer team.  The Junior center back let the Eagles to shutout victories over #9 Northville and #14 Salem last week.  The Eagles have 4 shutouts in their last 5 games.


Audrey Brown

(Freshman) Audrey Brown, from our Varsity Girls’ Golf team.  At the MHSAA Regionals this week, freshman Audrey Brown shot an 86 at Oak Pointe Golf Course to help us qualify for the State Finals.

Ethan Stover(Senior) Ethan Stover, from our Varisty Boys’ Cross Country team.  Ethan, led Hartland to a win in our Dual meet against Grand Blanc finishing 2nd overall in a time of 17:22.  He also finished 4th overall (17:18) in the Linden Invite helping the Eagles to a second place finish.


Denton Paul
(Senior) Denton Paul, from our Varsity Boys’ Soccer team. Senior and Co-Captain Denton returned from injury for his first games this season and led the Eagles to two KLAA wins over Livonia Churchill and Livonia Franklin by scoring two goals and adding two assists.

 Ian Kenrick
(Senior) Ian Kenrick, from our Varsity Football team.  Ian had two interceptions, one he returned for a touchdown and he also recovered a fumble in an upset win over Salem 21-17.


Isabella Schmenk
(Sophomore) Isabella Schmenk, from our Varsity Girls’ Cross Country team.  Bella led the Eagles to a win over Grand Blanc in a dual meet finishing 2nd overall in a time of 21:02.  She was also the first Hartland finisher and a medalist at the Linden Invite finishing 14th in a time of 21:20.



Marissa Harris

(Freshman) Marissa Harris, from our Varsity Girls’ Swim team.  Marissa achieved a Division 1 state cut in the 100 backstroke this weekend at the Clash of the Underclass-women meet. She also took first in that event with a time of 1:00.57.

(Senior) Sylvia L’EspeSylvia L'Esperancerance – Volleyball



(Senior) Sylvia L’Esperance, co-captain for our Varsity Volleyball team.  She has been playing a large role in our games thus far in our season as an outside and right side hitter.  This past week she was able to record 13 kills, 12 total digs and had a 100% serving average out of 25 serving attempts against Churchill.  In addition, Sylvia was able to record 5 kills, 2 blocking assists, 17 total digs and had a 92% serving average out of 26 total serving attempts against Grand Blanc.

Madddie Mince 

(Junior) Maddie Mince, from our Varsity Girls’ Swim team.
Maddie achieved her D-1 state cut at the first meet of the season. She went 59.48 in the 100 fly and went 24.99 in her 50 free only missing the state cut by .10 of a second.

 Megan Acs

(Junior) Megan Acs, from our Varsity Girls’ Volleyball team. 

Megan is an Outside Hitter who led the team with 36 kills at the Mt. Morris Tournament on Saturday, August 26.  13 of the kills came against Mt. Morris where Megan helped lead Hartland to a win against Mt. Morris in Set One during pool play.  She also recorded 38 digs and 2 solo blocks overall.  In addition, Megan had 100% serving average for the entire tournament.

 Sydney Bradford

(Junior) Sydney Bradford, from our Varsity Girls’ Golf team.

Monday, Sydney shot a 77 to lead us to a school record 326 and a tournament 1st place finish at the Hartland Invitational at Hartland Glen.  Tuesday, she led our team to a KLAA tri-match win over Novi and Plymouth Salem with a score of 39. Thursday, at the Troy Invitational at Twin Lakes she shot an 84.

The previous week Sydney shot a school record 75 at the Marian Invitational at Hudson Mills Golf Course.

Savannah Grabowski (1)(Sophomore) Savannah Grabowski, from our Varsity Girls’ Golf Team.  Savannah shot a 44 on Wednesday at our tri-match at Fox Hills Golf Course.  On Friday, she recorded an 83 to help us to a 4th place finish out of 24 teams at the Farmington Invitational held at Glen Oaks Country Club.

Week of April 10, 2017


Clare Minsker (1)

Clare Minsker had a great week for Hartland softball, racking up 12 hits in 18 at-bats, driving in 7 runs and scoring 7 runs while stealing 3 bases.  Clare lead the varsity softball team to a 4-2 record this past week and is our nomination for athlete of the week.

Andrea Everett (1)

Andrea Everett is this weeks goalie Selection.  The Hartland Soccer goalkeeper made 8 saves to lead Hartland to a shutout win over Howell.

Max Hendricks (1)

Max Hendricks was 2-0 on mound pitching 10 innings giving up 3 hits and striking out 15.  He did not allow a run.  At the plate for the week, max was 10-17 with two doubles, a triple and 3 run Home run.  He collected 6 RBI’s and scored 9 runs.


Emily Beazley (1)


Emily Beazley helped lead the Eagles to 2 big wins this week vs. Northville and Troy.  Beazley contributed 13 goals and 2 assists.


Week of April 17, 2017 

Josh Call

Josh Call had a great week for the Hartland eagle Boys track team.  Josh won the long jump with a jump of 19′ 11″ and placed second in the High jump with 5′ 8″ against Pinckney.  Josh was part of the winning shuttle hurdle relay at the Blue Devil Relays.  He was on the second place long jump relay and third place high jump relay.  Josh scored 17.5 pts for the eagles this week.



Meghan Economou

Meghan Economou helped lead the Eagles to an 8-0 record this week with wins over South Lyon, Waterford and Birmingham.  Meghan had a 60% save percentage for the week in goal.

In Mitchell’s first competitive week of high school golf, he led the team as the low scorer at the Southern Swing Invitational in Springfield Ohio with scores of 79 – 79 = 158 for the 36 hole two day tournament. Mitchell has the look of a solid contributor to the Hartland Golf team and he proved it this week.



Week of April 24, 2017

Nic HoffmanNic Hoffman led Hartland with a 77 at Oakland Hills Country Club in the Brother Rice Invitational. Nic’s score was impressive on a tough day, in the toughest field assembled in the State each year. Nic’s senior leadership will be a key to the Eagle’s success in 2017.


Madelin Skene

Madelin Skene played in all 9 games for Hartland Softball this week. At the plate, Skene went 19 for 29 batting .655 with 5 extra base hits, 3 home runs, 18 RBI and crossed the plate 13 times. In the circle, Skene pitched in 7 games winning all 7. She had 42 strikeouts, allowed only 4 earned runs and finished the week with a .764 ERA. Madelin Skene is my nomination for Athlete of the Week.


Week of May 8

Bryce Brief

Freshman Bryce Brief earned the first Top Ten All-Tournament Team selection of his young career with a 74 at the East Lansing Spring Classic at Forest Akers this past weekend. Brief’s score was among the ten lowest in the 31 team, 155 player event.


Janna Halonen (1)



Jenna Halonen, from our Varsity Girls’ Soccer team.
The Hartland Senior and Co-Captain scored six goals including the team’s first hat trick and added an assist to lead the Eagles to three wins over Milford, Lakeland and Saginaw Heritage.

Joey Livingston


(Junior) Joey Livingston, from our Varsity Wrestling team.  160 pound wrestler Joey Livingston had a 7-0 week. Joey went 2-0 on Wednesday with two pins and then went 5-0Saturday and topped a state ranked wrestler from Davison.

(Junior) Julia Conway, from our Varsity Girls’ Bowling team.
Julia had games of 168 and 168 in our win over South Lyon.

 Hayden Culver

(Senior) Hayden Culver, from our Varsity Wrestling team.

Senior 130 pound wrestler Hayden Culver had a 7-0 week helping Hartland to KLAA wins against Milford and Pinckney on Wednesday and the Michigan Duals Championship on Saturday. Hayden also recorded his 100th career win on Saturday and earned 5 pins on the week.

(Junior) Michelle Thompson, from our Varsity Girls’ Bowling team.  Michelle had games of 223-188-220-203-230 and 235 in wins over Brighton, Milford, Pinckney and Waterford Mott.

Boys Junior Varsity Hockey, Boys Varsity Hockey · Blake Heier, State Bank Athlete of the Week

(Senior) Blake Heier, from our Varsity Hockey team.  Blake was a man on a mission last Wednesday night scoring FOUR goals and adding an assist for five points to lead Hartland over Walled Lake Western.  Hartland hockey is 8-0 in KLAA league play.
