The Hartland girls lacrosse team showed how resilient they can be. After being down 3 goals with around 4 minutes to go, the Eagles looked to regroup after their final time out. The Eagles tied the game with a goal from Elena Salazar. The Eagles controlled the OT and were able to win 19-16. Abigail Trosin led the team with 5 goals and 3 assists with 28 draw controls. Salazar had 5 goals, Maddy Veto and Emma Donahue contributed 4 goals. Donahue also recorded 2 assists. Erika Beauchamp chipped in 1 goal. Morgan Mundell had 8 saves in goal. Breah Carroll and Maddie Phillips were able to come up with some key ground balls down the stretch.
The Eagles will head to Livonia on Wednesday for the KLAA Championship.
