Hartland High School proudly recognizes Sophia Nunnery of the Girls Cross Country Team as this week’s ChoiceOne Bank Athlete of the Week. Nunnery delivered a standout performance on one of the biggest stages of the season, running a lifetime best of 18:57 and placing 74th overall. Her strong finish played a key role in helping Hartland secure a 9th-place team finish — the first top-ten finish in Division 1 in school history. Sophia’s hard work, determination, and continual improvement have made her an essential leader for the Eagles this season.
