Hartland Archery Does It Again with Dominant Valentine's Weekend

Hartland’s Archery program delivered another dominant weekend, capturing team championships in two separate tournaments while continuing to showcase the depth and consistency of the program across all grade levels. The Eagles first competed at the Walled Lake 3D Cupid Shoot on February 14, where individual medals were awarded to the top three finishers in each division. Hartland’s Elementary, Middle School, and High School teams all earned first-place finishes. At the elementary level, Hartland swept both individual podiums. Frank Gobright claimed first place in the boys division, followed by Dar Lorang in second and Emmett Kramer in third. On the girls side, Austin Jacobs earned first place, Madyson LaPoint finished second, and Lucy Dorset placed third. The Middle School team also secured first place overall. In the girls division, Aubrey Decelle took first, Addison Fellows finished second, and Delaney Staron placed third. Hartland’s High School team continued the winning trend with a first-place finish. Jayden Boshaw captured first place in the boys division, while Carisa Hall earned first place in the girls division. The following day, Hartland traveled to compete in the Grand Ledge Camo Classic on February 15, where medals were awarded to the top ten individuals in each division. Once again, the Eagles dominated. At the elementary level, Hartland earned another first-place team finish. Austin Jacobs led the girls with a first-place medal, followed by Madyson LaPoint in second and Lucy Dorset in fifth. In the boys division, Tyler Wojociechowski placed sixth, Nathan Warner eighth, Aiden Meniefield ninth, and Frank Gobright tenth. The Middle School team captured first place as well. Luke Bearer finished fourth in the boys division, Ryder Jacobs fifth, and Dominic Suchland seventh. In the girls division, Delaney Staron earned first place, Aubrey DeCelle finished fourth, Madelyn Parsons seventh, Carley Kraft eighth, and Addison Fellows ninth. At the high school level, Hartland Team #1 secured first place, while Team #2 earned second. Jayden Boshaw led the boys with a first-place finish, followed by Asher Adams in second, Lucas Murray in third, Ryan Schultz in fifth, Eli King in sixth, Dalton Suchland in seventh, and Judah Moody in ninth. In the girls division, Annalisa Wilkinson captured first place, Carisa Hall finished second, Addison Mach third, Ceci Schmanski fourth, Emma Shaw fifth, Aubrie Poloni seventh, and Keely Walaskay eighth. In addition to team and individual medals, the Grand Ledge tournament awarded a GOAT medal to the top overall archer in each division. Hartland swept all three honors, with Austin Jacobs earning the Elementary GOAT award, Delaney Staron claiming the Middle School GOAT medal, and Jayden Boshaw taking home the High School GOAT distinction. The weekend also featured numerous personal best performances, further highlighting the growth and dedication of Hartland’s archers. Once again, the Eagles represented the Hartland School District with excellence and pride while continuing their impressive season.
