Hartland Girls Boardercross Punches Ticket to States

By Cameron Montney | Feb 18, 2026 3:00 PM

The Hartland Girls Varsity Boardercross team delivered an outstanding performance at the state qualifiers yesterday, earning a first-place team finish and securing their spot at the upcoming state meet on Friday, February 27 in Gaylord. With their strong showing, Mia Mills, Emma Mills, Kaiya Hernandez, Jessica Hamilton, and Kam Corbeau will advance to compete at the state level, representing Hartland on one of the biggest stages of the season. Senior Mia Mills capped off a remarkable league season by placing first individually overall against competitors from seven schools. Over the course of 30 races this year, Mia remained undefeated, an extraordinary accomplishment that automatically qualifies her for the individual state meet as well. The team’s depth, consistency, and competitive drive have propelled them to another milestone achievement as they prepare for state competition later this month. Hartland looks forward to cheering on the Eagles as they compete in Gaylord.
