Hartland senior Dylan Reinwand, known across the Rocket League arena as “Qyxical,” has officially signed to continue his academic and esports career at Cleary University, taking one of the most decorated résumés in program history to the collegiate stage. Reinwand leaves Hartland as a cornerstone of the Eagles’ rise to statewide prominence. His defining moment came in Fall 2024, when he led Hartland to a State Championship, delivering a title that cemented both his legacy and the program’s place among Michigan’s elite. That championship run earned him MHSEL All-State Rocket League honors, recognizing him as one of the top players in the state. The success did not stop there. In Spring 2025, Reinwand guided the Eagles to a Top 4 state finish and then helped Hartland break onto the national radar with a Top 5 finish in the PlayVS Cup National Tournament against elite competition from across the country. By Fall 2025, the Eagles were still firmly in the contender conversation, finishing Top 10 in the state and continuing a stretch of sustained excellence with Reinwand at the center of it all. His impact went beyond the stat lines and tournament finishes. Reinwand built his reputation on composure in overtime moments, precision in defensive rotations, and a knack for delivering when the pressure peaked. Teammates leaned on him, opponents game-planned around him, and time and again “Qyxical” proved to be the difference-maker on the biggest stages. Now he takes that championship pedigree to Cleary University, joining a growing collegiate esports program and stepping into the next chapter of competition.
