The future took center stage at Hartland High School as 14 student athletes officially signed to continue their academic and athletic careers at the collegiate level during Spring Signing Day, turning the page from Eagle standouts to the next chapter of competition. From the track to the field, the pool to the pitch, and even the esports arena, Hartland’s reach was on full display as seniors put pen to paper surrounded by family, coaches, teammates, and a community that has watched them grow into collegiate competitors. Cameron Campbell, a key member of Hartland Track and Field, signed with Northwood University, continuing a tradition of Eagle excellence in competition. Joining the Northwood family as well is Arianna Kinney of Hartland Girls Tennis, whose consistency and competitive drive earned her the opportunity to compete at the next level. Elliana Neuer will take her talents to Michigan State University after competing in both Cross Country and Track and Field for Hartland, while Sophia Nunnery, also a standout in Cross Country and Track and Field, signed with Northern Michigan University. In the pool, Sebastian Ritsema of Hartland Boys Swim and Dive will also head north to continue his career at Northern Michigan University. The gridiron was well represented as Brett Karwowski of Hartland Football signed with Michigan Tech University, and Carter Smith will continue his football career at Trine University, each carrying Hartland’s toughness and discipline into the collegiate ranks. On the pitch, Grace Lesinski signed with Huntington University to continue her Girls Soccer career, while Claire Pielack of Hartland Girls Lacrosse will head south to Nova Southeastern University to compete at the next level. Hartland Baseball celebrated two collegiate commitments, with Logan Randall signing with Lansing Community College and Sawyer Scott committing to Macomb Community College, further strengthening the program’s growing collegiate pipeline. From the Fairways, Hartland Boys Golf standout, Michael Maurin signed with Virginia State University. In a unique and rapidly growing arena, Dylan Reinwand of Hartland Esports, known for his Rocket League success, signed with Cleary University, continuing Hartland’s expansion into collegiate esports competition. Adding to the diverse group of signees, Leilani Chyo will take her talents to the University of Michigan for Twirling, representing Hartland on one of the most visible collegiate stages in the country. Spring Signing Day was more than a ceremony, it was a celebration of years of dedication, early mornings, late nights, and relentless commitment. Fourteen Eagles now take the next step, carrying Hartland pride with them as they transition from high school standouts to collegiate athletes.
