Hartland is not just winning matches, they are taking control of the court. In a week that defined momentum, the Eagles rolled through Canton 7-2, handled Fowlerville 6-2, and capped it off with a dominant 10-0 sweep of Plymouth. Add in earlier wins over Flushing and Grand Blanc, and Hartland stands undefeated at 5-0, playing with confidence and depth that is turning heads. It starts with a singles lineup that has been nearly untouchable. Against Fowlerville, Arianna Kinney, Baylee Kotrba, Leda Pantelas, and Macy Lemmen swept all four flights in straight sets, setting the tone early. That same fire carried into the Canton match, where Kotrba, Pantelas, and Lemmen delivered decisive wins, controlling points and dictating pace from the baseline. Through the first five matches, Kotrba has been a steady force at No. 2, while Pantelas and Lemmen continue to stack wins with consistency and composure. Even in tougher matchups, the Eagles have shown the ability to respond, reset, and bounce back. But this run is not built on singles alone. Hartland’s depth in doubles has been the difference-maker. The duo of Stella Kelsey and Maria DiMatteo has delivered match after match, including strong straight-set wins against Fowlerville, Canton, and Flushing. Gabriella McClue and her partners have added to the surge, helping lock down key flights and extend team leads. Across the board, Hartland has found ways to win, whether in clean two-set finishes or gritty third-set battles. The earlier wins only reinforce the trend. A 7-1 victory over Flushing featured another singles sweep and clutch doubles play, while a 6-3 win over Grand Blanc showcased the Eagles’ ability to grind through competitive matches and come out on top. From top singles to the final doubles flight, Hartland is bringing pressure every time they step on the court. Five matches in, the Eagles have proven they are not just a team with talent, they are a team with balance, resilience, and momentum. Five matches, five wins, and a team that continues to build confidence with every point. Hartland Tennis is off to a blazing start, and the rest of the schedule is officially on notice. Go Eagles.
