Hartland Athletics is proud to recognize Michael Maurin of the Hartland Boys Golf team as this week’s ChoiceOne Athlete of the Week. The senior opened the season in impressive fashion, leading the Eagles at the Plum Market Invitational at Tam-O-Shanter Country Club. Maurin fired a 75, helping Hartland secure a 2nd place finish in a highly competitive 26-team field while earning a 5th place individual finish. He continued his strong play later in the week, carding a 37 in a scrimmage against Linden, further showcasing his consistency early in the season. Maurin is expected to be a key contributor for the Eagles throughout the 2026 campaign, providing leadership and experience to a talented lineup.
