Hartland Athletics proudly recognizes Liam Kastamo of the Hartland Boys Golf team as this week’s ChoiceOne Athlete of the Week. Kastamo put together an outstanding week on the course, delivering consistent performances across multiple high-level events while helping the Eagles continue their strong season. He opened the week Monday by shooting a 76 at Oak Pointe, earning a 7th-place finish at the Pleasant Counseling Invite and helping Hartland secure the team championship. Liam followed that performance Thursday with another 76, finishing 16th overall at the Pre-KLAA Tournament. On Friday, he continued his impressive stretch by carding a 75 at American Dunes, good for a 13th-place finish, before wrapping up the week Sunday with yet another steady round of 76 during the opening round of the TCJGA Invite at Arcadia Bluffs South Course. Round after round, Kastamo has proven to be one of the Eagles’ most reliable contributors this season. His consistency, composure, and ability to compete against strong fields have made him a key piece of the 2026 Hartland Boys Golf lineup.
