The accolades continue to roll in for Hartland Boys Lacrosse, as a remarkable group of Eagles earned postseason recognition at the conference, regional, state, and national levels following an outstanding 2026 campaign. Leading the way is junior goalkeeper Nate Anderer, who earned All-American honors, one of the sport's most prestigious individual recognitions. The honor highlights the impact Anderer made between the pipes throughout the season and places him among the top players in the game. He was also selected First Team All-State and All-KLAA Conference, adding to an already remarkable junior campaign. Hartland's presence was felt throughout the All-State selections as six Eagles earned statewide recognition. Midfielder Clayton Penzien joined Anderer as a First Team All-State selection after a dominant season controlling play between the lines. Second Team All-State honors went to attackman Coen Chwalek, midfielder Connor Gilbert, and faceoff specialist Kellan Hull, while defenseman Jaxon DeLaBarre earned Third Team All-State recognition. The Eagles' depth and versatility were equally evident in the All-Region selections. Defensemen Dell Moran and Tyler Brumm were recognized for their strong play on the back end, while short-stick defensive midfielders Jackson Ray and Ashton Jewell earned honors for their ability to impact games in transition and on defense. On the offensive side, attackman Drew Schaecher and midfielder Liam Quick were selected after helping drive the Eagles' attack throughout the season. Conference honors further highlighted Hartland's success within the KLAA. Anderer, Chwalek, Gilbert, Hull, Penzien, and DeLaBarre were all named All-Conference selections after consistently performing against some of the league's top competition. What makes this collection of honors especially impressive is the balance represented across the field. Hartland earned recognition at nearly every position group, from goalie and defense to midfield, faceoff specialist, and attack. The awards reflect not only individual excellence, but also the strength of a program that continues to establish itself among Michigan's best. For Anderer, the All-American distinction places him among the elite players in the sport and serves as one of the highest individual honors available to a high school athlete. As a junior, he now returns with the opportunity to build on an already historic season. For the rest of the honorees, the selections represent the reward for months of hard work, preparation, and dedication.
