Hartland Bass Fishing claimed the top spot Tuesday evening on the Kent Lake stop of the M59/US23 Youth Fishing League on a night that proved tough for the field. The boat consisting of Eli King, Zander Caillier, and Asher Adams were able to bring in more fish than their competition to take the top spot with 4 fish weighing in at 11.85 lbs. Final stop of the trail is on August 25 on Thompson Lake for the league championship. Hartland Bass Fishing was reintroduced this summer after a several-year hiatus. The team has boats that compete in various leagues including the M59/US23 Youth Fishing League and the Michigan Bass Nation High School Trail.
