Friday, September 18th was a special evening for the Hartland community. The annual Gold Out game was about to be played in front of a packed stadium between crosstown rivals. Before the kickoff, our honorary captain Connor, made his way out on the field for the coin toss. Although he was surrounded by what likely seemed like giants, Connor was the biggest fighter in the group. The coin flipped end upon end and landed in favor of the Eagles. Some say it was Connor's web slinging skills that directed the coin, we might never know but it was the first win of the night and definitely not the last.
